eZmeeting Adds Powerful New Features
New York, New York -- Sigma Design announced today the release of eZmeeting 2.3 at Collaborative Conference and Expo East held at the Hynes Convention Center in Boston from June 25-28th, 2002.
eZmeeting (www.eZmeeting.com) is a simple, robust peer-to-peer desktop application that enables fast, real time, ad hoc collaboration on documents between two or more people. It can also be used as a "one-stop" application for universal viewing, organizing and compiling documents, either online or off.
The latest version adds new features and functionality to the software's document-building capabilities. eZmeeting helps people organize, save, and share their electronic information into one compound file format - the .ez file. Powerful presentations can be created by combining different file types, regardless of whether the application that created them is on your system. An .ez file retains each file format's native characteristics, so there is no need for data conversion or copying. It's all in one universal .ez file that can be viewed, re-compiled, marked up, and then archived or shared instantly with others.
Also included in the upgrade is a major enhancement to eZmeeting's snapshot tool.
